WarCraft II On 9 Monitors

I don't know how many people here know about this, so I'm posting it in here for anyone interested.

Yes. Some guy at a computer lab found a way to run WarCraft II on that many monitors:

My first reaction was to think, Lucky b... You know how that phrase ends. Today found this page again through the Wayback Machine, and I thought the same thing. But in both occasions, I meant it in a good way.

The 24-Monitors setup for Quake 3 Arena never impressed me that much, because the frame rate can drop to 15 per second and that's no fun no matter how big the display. It's still great, but not as great as playing WarCraft II at 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Does anybody have other game-related curiosity to share?

Haha!! "get me the pentagon", he says as he looks at his wall-sized tactical display.

Who needs a minimap when you've got the entire battle going on screen at once? Tongue
