Various floppy disks

If anyone has the following, please upload them:

All Color StyleWriter 2500 disks
All StatView disks (and QC Tools)
All Microsoft Excel 4.0 disks
All MacFlow disks
All GlobalFax OCR disks
All Microsoft Word 6.0 disks
All Microsoft PowerPoint 4.0 disks
All Microsoft Office 4.2 disks

I know that it's a lot, but I really need these disks. Thank you in advance if you upload any of them.

Microsoft stuff has been removed at request. These files can't be re-uploaded, never.

Microsoft stuff has been removed at request.

Where is an official statement from Microsoft on this website about this ? I cannot find any.

There is none official statement, except

By the request of Microsoft, download link for this software is unavailable. Sorry!

on the particular pages.

If there is no official statement of Microsoft, why are you removing all downloads from this page?

If you have an official statement from their side, post it first as a thread in the forum and link it to all the removal statements. Else it resurrect all download links, please (Is it a hoax ?) !

Following procedure was common on MacGarden so far:
1. First post official statement to forum and see what users say.
2. Make backups of the linked content for re-uploading when the owner changes his mind or goes bankrupt.
3. Then remove links and replace them with removal statement linking to the thread with the offical statement

But not delete any links of your own, rampaging the pages on the site.

MS requested removal of Microsoft Office 2004, and linked the Office 2004 and the Office 4.2 pages. I'm figuring the latter may have been a misidentification but I'm not sure.

If an admin removes something, it's probably for good reason.

Ya, I had seen that Microsoft links were asked not to be added, but even in the comments, people were saying that it's so old, it's pointless to ban them. I was just hoping that it could be renewed, and that Microsoft could come to their senses.

This is a bit off topic, but Apple has links (don't remember where, though) hosting their old OS setup disks. And look at Microsoft! They won't even budge with Windows 3.1!

Anyway, if any other software can be uploaded (or if a Microsoft statement can be found that states that that particular software must be removed), please do so!

After reviewing the letter I have to question its authenticity.
Still, considering that the letter only mentions Office 2004, I suggest not uploading that product. After all, MS released the last update to it in 2011, which is fairly recent.

As for the much older MS stuff, someone should just put it back. Fortuna Wave/sheepmyshaver123, please don't arbitrarily remove stuff...

MS requested removal of Microsoft Office 2004

If Microsoft requested removal of MS Office 2004 only, then remove it only but not all products. Nevertheless link the MS Office 2004 page to a copy of the Microsoft's removal statement in a forum thread.

I'm figuring the latter may have been a misidentification but I'm not sure.

Probably a hoax, then ?

Thanks, Fortuna Wave!

You see, I own all of these disks, but most are missing and some are corrupt (This disk is unreadable by this Macintosh…). That's why if anyone also has Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on separate disks, I could at least replace the dead ones with ones that someone could upload.

Also, I downloaded the one from MEGA and noticed the entire thing is in one 100MB .img file, not separate ones. How do I put this on separate floppy disks?

There was an issue with uploading files that would result in HTTP 0 errors. This should be fixed now.

Most of the data is migrated. There will be a small list of files that can't be located and that will have to be re-uploaded.

Thanks, Balrog.

To any readers: If you have Toast (I use 11 Titanium) you can drag and drop any disk image file (.dsk, .img, .toast, .iso, and so on and so on) and it'll give you the option to mount it. Now you can view the files inside the image! Just make sure your disk image is locked before you do so.
