Uploaded: Pascal Compilers for CodeWarrior Pro 5

I found a way to do Pascal development with CodeWarrior Pro 5: You can transplant the Pascal support from CodeWarrior Pro 4 into your install of CodeWarrior Pro 5.

In case someone doesn't want to do this entirely manually, I've gathered the needed files into a Stuffit archive and arranged them in the traditional "INTO -> >folder name<" layout for CodeWarrior updates.

The archive is named "CWPro4Pascal.sit". It's (currently) the last download in the list.

Lightspeed / Think Pascal is a much better programming environment ... I still haven't found anything that comes close to being that good. Unfortunately Symantec took over and then abandoned the product, so it was never any use for Mac OS X programming. Sad

https://freepascal.org is the only real thing going other than Borland. With the Lazarus IDE, it's available on pretty much all hardware platforms, and built on top of LIghtspeed/Borland ideas.

I've only had time for a quick flick through a few of the documentation pages, but it looks HORRIFICALLY AWFUL!! Even more cumbersome and messy than than CodeWarrior. Sad

Oh yes, it is... My first "real" programming language was Borland's Turbo Pascal, the ancestor of FreePascal, and even with that I don't do anything serious in FreePascal these days.
