Unstuffing Wizardry.

I am not a computer expert, but thanks to all the support on this site, I've been able to set up the Mac emulator as well as adding some games. I would really like to play Wizardry, but am having trouble adding it. I'm not able to unstuff it within the emulator, and if I unstuff it before and add it, it doesn't work properly. Can anyone help? Thanks!

A few questions that might help diagnose your problem:

On what host system are you running the emulator?

What emulator are you running?

What version of MacOS are you using in the emulator?

What version of Stuffit are you running in the emulator?

Thanks for your prompt reply!

I'll do my best to answer your questions. I am using the Mini vMac with StuffIt Expander 4.0.1. I'm using 6.0.8 in the emulator. And I use a Mac OS X Version 10.4.11. Does all that help?

I also set up BasiliskII, using Mac OS 7.5.3. It looks like I have not yet added any StuffIt Expander to that emulator.

If I add the unstuffed files, I get a message asking me to insert the Master Disk. If I try to unstuff the game in the emulator, it indicates that the application is busy or missing.

And now it seems I have multiple copies of locked .img files on my desktop (on my host system). Smile

Edit: Replaced 'xxx 7' by 'Mac OS 7' - IIGS User

I think you are doing it right. If you look on the game page, you will notice that when I tried the game some months ago, I had the same problems, re: the master disk:

I think that there are some copy protection issues that we cannot get around. Sorry...
