Is there any software for home design like furniture placment ?

I need some software that will alow me to make rooms and place furniture. I use OS 9.

There is "Design It! 3-D" here. I haven't used it so can't recommend it, only to add that it looks like its the type of software you are asking for.

I have used many software’s in my time, and I for one can tell you that there are many fairly poor programs out there, while there is some really good quality home designing programs. Sketchup, AutoCAD for drafting, modeling and detailing, 3ds max for render with realistic materials and Adobe photoshop for post production.... Learn more here

I used a CAD program years ago that had furniture, doors, windows etc. I think it was called minicad...

I used TurboCAD for that matters, but it was 2D only.
I also used Form●Z a lot, but rather for 3D modeling of complex technical objects. I don"t know if it's really suitable for furnitures placement.
I also tried MiniCAD 7 two years ago and found it quite capable, but I did not look into it any further.
