The Hunt for WriteNow Enhancer 2.0!

WriteNow's speed is amazing on Classic Macs: designed for the 68k processor, the PowerPC chip never slowed it down. Version 3 was arguably the 'Word 5' of the program. My only gripe was it lacked a toolbar.

Enter WriteNow Enhancer 2.0: designed to add a toolbar with WN's most frequently-used commands, it was the add-on that helped make it my number one word processor, and I can't believe I've forgotten about it!

I did some searching for my long-lost add-on toolbar, but I only found a small handful of references to it. Anybody have a copy of it to add to the Garden? This version (v2.0) enhances WriteNow versions 3 and 4.

I wouldn't mind seeing that here, as well. Smile

Btw, WriteNow never had its source code released, has it?

I don't think so. But it was written entirely in 68K Assembly Language. So having the source would only be useful to a handful of people.
