Only known copy to exist. The normal released versions are on SNES and X68000.
This auction has been sitting there for a few months now. Does anyone think this is something worth pursuing? I wouldn't pay the full asking price for it but if there was enough interest maybe we could get some sort of crowdfunding thing going and try to negotiate the price down with the seller.
Is that person asking for nearly 500 USD? It must be an incredibly rare gem for that price.
I could definately chip in if we're to pursue it.
On the one hand, this Tetris doesn't have my favorite modes like co-op. On the other hand, if it looks anything like the Floyd-Steinberg dithered PC-98 version, it should be solid.

I don't know if someone wants absolutely an original. If not, we have this title in the Garden... Rare gem, did you say ? 
News of a Mac version is a surprise to me. I'll have to launch this one sometime but I can't imagine it has the same sort of music as the SNES version.
Well...I finally got a chance to launch it. It has music, but they're literally in 10 second loops, and none of them sound anything close to the SNES version. These are stored as snd files in ResEdit.
Hmm, didn't notice that link... d'oh! Mainly because the search function is borked for several games. Well, if we already have the game here, there's probably no need to pursue this further, though the game itself is indeed extremely rare.
Back to waiting for the Mac version of Shadow Brain to appear...

It's a wonky old search system, the advanced option allows for further tweaks though
I own it too, there is now 2 copies known to exist. This game is indeed super rare.
