SUGGESTION: User favourites

Self-explanatory, a suggestion I thought of was to add a user favourites feature so we can favourite various games and apps entries for later reference.

It already exists. Your web browser calls them 'Favourites' or 'Bookmarks'. Smile

In my web browser's Bookmarks I have specific folders where I can add pages that I don't have time to look or don't have the data to download right now. When I do have more time / data, I can then go through those lists and delete them when dealt with.

The user's idea is totally legit and understandable, and could only benefit the website... even mentioning to use the browser's bookmarks is a bad taste joke.

To be honest, if I could think of a list of things to ensure new users bounce as fast as possible from my site, I would come here to take notes. Please take no offence from the previous comment. As web developer I have many years of experience with this. The site has great content, and even better users (with remarkable exceptions), but the site's structure leaves a lot to be desired.

What would be nice though is to have an interface that you can manage from the site, and perhaps also subscribe to get alerts when changes are published or there are any comments on a particular item. (I also would like to be able to see a list of modifications I've made...)

Something along those lines are actually planned down the road

Awesome!

While we're at it: A "Mark all as seen" on the Recent Changes page for logged-in users??

perhaps also subscribe to get alerts when changes are published

Isn't that what the RSS Feed subscription is used for?

I'm ashamed to say I haven't investigated this feature to date Shy

I just use the recent changes tracker.

Changes to specific entries though. Most wikis have an option to send an email alert when a watched page is edited or changed.
