Rex Nebular bug ??

I was playing today Rex Nebular but i stuck at the North Sea Window that you have to put the timebomb on the ledge. A big msg says (in a few words) that i cannot do that because i have to do some things before so Rex does not put the timebomb on the ledge. I have already made the chicken bomb, i have tied the fishing line to a hook of a tall building and on the boat, i have already taken and used the polycement, i have the target module and the shield modulator. I found the following link:

Is there a bug at this game? If yes, then is there a patch for this? I played the easy level.

There other way play Rex Nebular. The Other way is Scummvm. Only plays in DOS. It don't support mac version of Rex Nebular. Also you play the game in DOS on Boxer. Boxer is DOS emulator.

My purpose was to finish the game on my Macintosh LC475 and then play it at my Imac via the boxer. I like seeing the differences of the games between formats.

Ok, i did it! I loaded the game before and played again from one specific point and it worked. I do not know if it is important but the difference when i played it again is that i didn't go to ship to use the polycement on the crack and return back to make the bombs as i did before. Firstly i attached the boat with the hook of the tall bulding, then took the detonators, made the bombs and then i put the timebomb on the ledge of the Northsea Window. It worked. So i flooded the city, went to Governor's building to steal the vase and finally i used the teleporter to go to the place where is the ship.

Now it is time to play the dos version which generally is better for me. Mac version has great small fonds and the quality of music is great. But dos version has a lot more music, soundblaster is not better that Mac sound but the Roland MT32 is greater than all. Also the items at the inventory spin around and the dos version has a lot richer introduction than Mac version.

And finally, i am writing this message via my Macintosh Performa 6116 using Mac OS 8.6 and Classilla 9.3.3. (Specs of 6116: Powerpc 60 mhz, Sonnet Nubus G3 500 mhz installed, 136 mb ram, Apple 8100 video card with 4mb installed, 72gb hard drive, Roland MT32 connected via a Macman Macintosh Midi Interface for the few Sierra On Line games that support it, also Mac OS 8.1 installed, Macally mouse, Monkey Island 2 cover mouse pad).
