My G4 Cube has moved to the kitchen and is mostly running OS 9 (and sometimes Jaguar) to play some games whilst waiting for something to cook etc. and I need some sort of a very simple timer app that would alarm me after a countdown. Suggestions?

Not tried by me, but Pester may do - one there for 10.1+ (freeware).
Also untried by me is Coffee Timer 1.1 another freeware countdown timer, except this one runs in a classic Mac OS (right-click to direct DL).
[Edit] Tried Coffee Timer, it works happily in the background, is shareware not freeware. No nags tho' and I hope, not time-bombed.
