Ready-to-duplicate Jaguar image

Hi everyone! I've been experimenting with Jaguar the past month and I like it quite much. But I have a lot of trouble installing it on MDD 2003 (burned disc doesn't boot, a usb sticks in open firmware seems to try booting but ends up hanging...). I guess the reason is simply that my MDD is too recent the original release of 10.2. So I was wondering if someone could provide me a ready-to-copy on a partition image of Jaguar so that I can enjoy its great OS 9 emulation!

Thanks!

Not sure if it helps, but did you try the server version?

Actually, perhaps oddly, the ever versatile 2003 eMac install DVD allowed me to install the 10.2.4 OS to my beige G3... maybe it would be OK for your MDD, also.

The OS installed OK it just complained about the restore parts, but that was not a difficulty either. Once the OS was installed and booted up to the new OS, via Terminal, cd into mounted volume and use command - open .images to access the rest.

If that fails, one could try using 10.2.7 discs (I don't think 10.2.8 discs existed). There was this one and these many discs, which may or may not require a minor text edit to spoof the acceptable target machines for an install. Steps similar to these may be followed to achieve that.

If I had a Jaguar-capable Mac, I'd love to help more.

Edit: There was also this 1st gen G5 10.2.7 disc, which, if used, would definitely require the spoofing I mentioned.
I also requested semvalidade2006 if he could upload the following, which seems to be exactly what is being seeked:
691-4679-A (DVD 2003 Power Mac G4. Software Install and Restore. Mac OS v10.2.7. AHT v2.0.2. Disc v1.0)

I've used http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/imac-software-install-and-restore-mac-os... and it worked perfectly without any spoofing. Thanks! Now I have Jaguar, Tiger, and Leopard on my MDD!

My MDD2003 boots 10.2.0 - the MDD2002 came with 10.2.0 and Apple assures us the 2003 is, ahem, identical to the 2002. My rig is not happy with 10.2.0 tho and would crash so I update it to at least 10.2.6 as fast as I can.

Jaguar can't boot from USB, neither can Panther 10.3 ~ I boot Tiger, Leotard, OS9, and other things from USB so it actually is Jaguar and Panther software refusing to boot via USB.

I got my Jag CDs from here at garden, you might try again.
