old Mac instructional audio and video tapes - LINK ADDED

Is it appropriate to upload old Mac instructional videos here? Or maybe I should start with is there any interest in saving them?

I was cleaning out my closet and found the VHS tapes "System 7: Lon Poole Tells All!" from PC Connection in 1991 and "MacConnection - Installing SIMMs" from 1990.

I'm sure I've also got a couple of the really old instructional audio cassette tapes for the Plus or 512 floating around somewhere.

I can convert the VHS tapes to any format and upload here if there is any interest. Maybe just in a forum thread if not on the "real" site? Or what about the Max1zz server? Would stuff like this fit there too?

I've still got quite a few boxes of VHS tapes to go through, so maybe I'll find a couple more like this.

Ok, here are the links to the videos on Mega. Just took a look at the Installing Simms and wow is it cheesy.

The System 7 one is a little blurry on some of the parts where they are filming the screen. The raw capture is like that too. It is still pretty clear though what is being shown.

And I did find the audio tape. I'll dig the tape player out and get it transferred to the computer. I've got an old Griffin device that let's me hook up the headphone port on the player to the USB port on the computer for a good transfer. I'll try to do that in the next couple of days.

Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I have the tutorial disk that goes with the tape. I'll see if I can find that too.

Photos of tape.
