New Website

Hi guys this is bubzie5. i am looking to start a new website that is completely devoted to classic software just like this site, but with more functionality. I am looking for Admins and Yes Euryale you are invited to be an admin. If you want to become an admin pleas say so in the comments box. Oh one last thing, i will post a huge link to this old software archive website if you guys do the same for me. :] thanks again everyone and have a good night.

I'd be happy to become admin, got a 30GB Classic Archive on external HD.

Thanks!, I appreciate the invitation but I cannot take a compromise like that,
I have a very variable schedule and I also have to take care of my own Web Site,
which is already finish but I still need to add some sections,
and by the way, it has nothing to do with Macs or computers at all,
(although I'd like to have a section of Apple ][ and Retro-Electronics stuff but not sure about it yet)
once again, thank you and let us know when you finish your site.

I hope you don't mind the question bubzie5, but why start another website on classic gaming? To me, Mac Garden offers the games & a place for discussion. Upload is easy to do, no need to wait for Admin activation etc. so what is it that you actually want to do better?

I'm not officially affiliated with Mac Garden in any way, I just wonder why we can't have one big page on mac classic gaming instead of a dozen smaller ones? (serious question, not intended to be offensive) Smile

I don't want to curb your enthusiasm, but if you penned a short mission statement for your website, just laying out exactly what you wanted to achieve, we'd all understand and be willing to help too. Just something more definitive than "completely devoted to classic software just like this site, but with more functionality" and "it will be more of a social network". I believe the Mac Garden mission statement starts out something like "To the preservation of original Macintosh software".

bubzie, good luck with the website, the more abandonware sites the better but also consider that the market may be shrinking/we need all the help we can get. of course you're always welcome to make suggestions and changes to MacGarden.

I will turn into admin because I collect the most, rare Macintosh Software like StuffIt Deluxe 3.5.1, SoftWindows 2.0 alpha, Adobe Illustrator 5.5a, Adobe Photoshop 3.0.5, MacWrite Pro 1.5, ClarisWorks 2.1, and more. If you want these software I have it, I will upload them to the releases in tomorrow.

Ok, where is the software archive?
