Missing Mac Format issues

I've finally got my act together and I'm scanning in my collection of Mac Format magazines. My request is for a copy of one of the missing magazines, if you have one and are willing to temporarily part with it.

I'm missing about 13 of the first 100 back issues. If anyone has one of the following issues below, I would be very happy if you would send me what you have (on loan, of course). I will pay for the postage back and forth. The magazine will not be damaged but it will be much more lived after I have scanned it. I'm not going to break the spine or do anything freaky, just lay it down on a good copier and scan it 132 times-ish. The magazine will take me an hour to scan and I'll send it back promptly.

Alternatively, if you have them already scanned and lack the time, inclination or resources to make the PDF yourself, I'd be happy to accept the scanned JPEGs from you.

These are issues that have eluded me thus far: 1, 4, 10, 13, 38, 47, 64, 65, 66, 81, 94, 96, 97

If you're on for it, please send me a PM.

Also, if anyone has the CD-ROMs from issues 13, 14 or 15 (that is, June, July, August 1994), would they be so good as to upload an image of them please? Thanks very much.

With the exeption of 1, 4, 10 and 13, I should have the rest of those mags. I've been scanning them as well as time allows and can prioratise these specific ones. Its an arduous process, i dunno how you can manage one per hour.

This is great to hear though, when I started there was barely any MacFormats on the internet archive (which is probably the best place for them), and only a handful of jpgs here.

Hi YYsMG,

You have done good work too! I have come across some your page on the Internet Archive and made use of it. You have about 4 issues there that I don't have.

You are right: The Internet Archive is a good place for these Mac Formats and surely a better place for all of the scans. I do intend to create an account there and put them up, but I've no plans of yet.

We have a good copier at work, a Kyocera TaskAlfa and it scans quickly. It gives me an A3 colour JPEG at 600 dpi. The hour at the copier is just scanning. The preparation of the images takes much more time. The images need to be straightened and I don't know how to automate it in Photoshop CS3. I do it manually with the ruler tool, then Rotate (Custom) then OK. There used to be a great app with the PaperPort Vx that would straighten skewed scans. Once that is done, I have to cut out out pages that are a uniform 2645 x 3540 pixels in size. Once that is done, I can apply a batch job and reduce the lot down to 1600x1200-ish. It's quite relaxing work and I listen to podcasts while I get it done.

Anyway, if you'd like me to scan the missing mags, send me a PM and I can send you the raw JPEGs back on a CD along with the magazine, if that helps.

Is the back issues hard to find on websites like eBay? This is the first I've heard of it.

They are indeed, well, the first 100 are. I've bought a couple of collections so far and I'm just missing the ones I mentioned above.
Of course, I could just be really bad at searching eBay. If you come across any links then I would be happy.
