Macromedia Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio

In my quest of finding the last versions of Adobe/Macromedia apps that supported Mac OS 9, I was wondering if anyone could upload Macromedia Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio? I've been trying to find a copy of the Trial Version as well but, all the links are dead. I did manage to find the 8.5.1 Updater. All the links still work. Here's the page for the 8.5.1 Update release notes. There was also an Director 8.5.1 Addendum as well. Also found the System Requirements page for 8.5/8.5.1.

I owned this one some years ago if I recall correctly, but not actually. More than that, I can't upload whatever I want. May be I have a problem with the site or something else, I don't know exactly. My bandwidth is good today. So, I don't think the problem comes from it... Sad

[EDIT] After all, seems there is a problem with my connection, perhaps from all connections of my provider... Sad

Ok, no worries. Might anyone have the 8.5 Trial version at least?

There is a Director 8.5 trial version located on MacAddict CD ROM 60/Aug 2001

Director MX trial (if also wanted) is located on the MacAddict CD ROM 79/Mar 2003

Both CD ROMs are available via archive.org's MacAddict Coverdiscs collection.

Thanks for the info. Yes, the trial is definitely on the MacAddict CD ROM 60/Aug 2001

But it doesn't seem possible to convert it into a full version or apply the update

So, eisner1, i'm also joining the quest to find it! It seems odd that no-one has this as Macromedia were so well-known back in the day, this title must have been used to author many CDROMs in it's time

Yes there is a way to convert it into a full working version.....Although the original media is better since it might have more goodies on it then turning a demo into a full version....
