MD5 works fine, I was just using some SHA1 earlier to see if some iOS MobileSync backups had changed (something to do with loosing two iPod Touches) so I got them switched up.

Annnnyway if you ran an MD5 on your end of the SD card content and compared it with the MD5 I supplied in the MD5 dump text file that'd work. Here's how I did it: http://hints.macworld.com/article.php?story=20051118190655891

Just dump the content into Terminal, change the window transparency, and any changes are real obvious.

Sheep: didn't see anything max uploaded in there, maybe I passed over it. Oh well...just so happens that I was actually looking for pre .97 versions of Mac OS ... BetaArchive also has a ton of Mac OS betas. I have a nice easy rtf I made of the content they have there for quick searching. Somewhere there I may have seen an upload of 7.7a2c5...the last version of Mac OS 7...

Thanks. It was the updated version of the disc that PowerPup uploaded it, can you show some differences between this and this?

it is a different version to what is on my server (v1.0 vs v1.1), if you want file by file differences you'll have to do it yourself.

in time sheep (hopefully will do some more tonight and tommrow (you insisting on mediafire makes things more complicated - they have a really crappy uploader)

@Mk.558 Checked whats on my computer and it matches what is on the sd card (same size in bytes and md5's match)

@mk558 - the disks are very safe, i have had a few close shaves with my server in the past so everything is very well backed up now(everything is backed up twice a day, once every 12 hours). I even have plans to have a second backup running to a different computer in another place in the house, meaning my backup could soon be run 4 times a day

sheep: found this site when looking around for Disk Dup+. I don't know if you wanted to dump all the disks or something like that. When dealing with this anquitated hardware, I think some sage advice can be "the best gems are not easily found" and "better to download and backup now than regret it later" given the remarkable atrophy of these old links.

edit: most are 400K MFS disks. I don't know what format they're dumped into but if you change the type/creator to DC 6.3.3 it'll mount, sort of. May want to run DisInfectant or something on that stuff.

P.S. Loving the reCAPTCHA :>

You can mount them in Mini vMac. You can also copy the contents of 400K MFS images to pre-prepared 800K images if that is a more convenient format for you. Mini vMac creates the proper directory structure for the various folders

What is Drive 10?

No idear (i don't have scans of the disk, and haven't looked through it) ask mk.558 or have a look through them

If you are sure you don't have the scans, send me a 'hollar and I'll get you one.

Drive 10 -- never used it. There's a manual on it, PDF. (I can send it to ya if you wanna flip through it, but if you're going to back it up to your server, you could also look at it yourself). In fact I never even knew what Drive 10 was even for. The manual basically presents it as a ...Sort of simple/middle-grade hard drive tool. Given its abilities (ho-so, don't know if it supports SMART status) it is kinda odd for it to cull 623MB.... ... ...If you need a tool to maintain your hard drive banks, you're probably going to want something else ... I mean most "common man" computer users call a tech if the hard drive dies or "the computer is acting up" and a "real" tech or a "savvy computer user" would most likely use something more powerful.

Dunno. -shrugs- I have it, figured someone might want it.

I don't think so. It boots into an OS X Aqua like interface.

Wrong folder for uploading. I put it accidentally in the root / folder, rather than in the Random folder.
