I've been having trouble getting .toast files to mount

I've tried toast 3, 4 on Mac OS 7.5.3 & 3, 4, and 5.0.2 on Mac OS 8.6.
Is there something that i'm missing? It won't mount or Burn a CD

the computer is a Power Macintosh 8600
I've had toast running on it before, but now it isn't working the same.
I have recently reinstalled the OS (8.6) and it didn't fix it.

thanks for any ideas

Try the Virtual CD/DVD Utility (3rd DL in page).

This can mount most Toast images on Mac OS's from 7.0 to 9.2.2

thanks. I just tried to download that, and got this error when trying to mount a .toast & a .dsk:

There are insufficient system resources to
mount this image

also: I have upped the memory alotted to the program to 200mb, so that's not the problem.

That error is not due to lack of memory so upping it will not solve the problem.

What are the disk images that you are trying to mount? If they come from here, I will look into solving the issue.

How much memory is installed on the machine?
How much memory shows as free in "About This Mac" with no programs runnning?
