Here are a bunch of games this site doesnt have

Found this a while back looking for some old mac abandon-ware. Glad to see Macintosh Garden make a comeback! Some of the ones on here are crud, but some are sweet. Its a french, but easy to navigate. This link takes you to an alphabetical listing of all the games and I have figured out that Télécharger = Download.

Enjoy and let me know if you find any gems...

Also, been on the lookout for Brickles Plus and Mac-breakout....

Oh look, there's a whole list of similar Mac abandonware sites under "Friends" on this obscure site.

On closer inspection, many of these files won't even extract. Does anyone else have this problem?

Not at all. Stuffit Expander - which you can get from this site, extracted all of mine.

bertyboy, thanks for the heads up. I hadnt looked at the links. But it looks like a few others hadnt either.

Please do not download games from Grenier du Mac in order to upload it here.

Not that I have or was planning on it, but why?

I wasn't planning on it either, but it makes no difference, if a user has a game
(let's say original disks)
that is already posted there, and decides to upload it here.

So, wouldn't it make sense to create a page for a game here, and then point to the link to the game on Grenier du Mac? Or did someone already do that and I didn't notice?

There is not even a need just to create a page with link to Grenier dwnl.
We've linked to Grenier from the startpage, in 'friends' section.

I did downloaded one game from Le Grenier du Mac and uploaded it here. It was System Shock. But there's a good reason for that. The file hosted over there is a CD image with plenty of wasted space. I converted it into a Disk Copy image and file size was reduced to a third, so I put it here as a service to the community. Why download a 200 MB file when you can get the same thing at 66 MB?

MacWise, on the other hand, that's fine. Smile

I also downloaded this game (Hypercube)
http://www.grenier-du-mac.net/fiches/hyperkub.htm

from the french site which Macgarden doesn't have, is seems very interesting,
Just I can't figure it out since it's in french,
so I would appreciate if someone has it in English or Spanish,
Thanks!

Since the author's name is François Lazard, I'm guessing it was a French-only title.

On a different note, what happened to your avatar? That lady looks creepy. The dancing girl was much but much better, in my humble opinion.

Not sure if this makes any sense, but i used a translator.

HyperCube is a set of breakage-neurons (one or two, according to the adjustments) which could be connected in Quarto. A whole of different parts which it is necessary to arrange according to a common element in order to carry out figures (size, color, form, hole).
The objective is to prevent the other gaining, and consequently, from gaining oneself. How to be caught there? Quite simply by refilant with its adversary a part which is most difficult possible to place, it goes without saying it exactly similar with you, because you will make cannot take yourself parts to be played, but must use those which one gives you… finally, best is still to test and to avoid humiliation, regulate the animal in “Stupid” mode.

regarding that game (Hypercube), then I'll have to figure it out, runs fine in Basilisk and seems
like a puzzle, looks like a well made game, graphics are nice.

Happy Birthday, Euryale, one day late. As we say in Spanish, "¡Que tengas muchos más!". Party
