Help Identify a numbers game

OK so here's what I remember of the game:

> There's a square board with lots of numbers, ranged from +15 to -9

> You alternate turns between AI, you move the cursor to a square with a number on it

> You can move either horizontally OR vertically, which you set at the start of the level (which means if you move horizontally, the AI will move vertically)

> Game continues until the board has been used up, or the cursor can no longer move.

> Player with higher score wins.

> Then the game starts up, the game says what i think is "Thank you, mother"

Could it be something similar to this?

We loved playing it on the Mac II with System 2, wow - thats thirty years ago!
I must be becoming old. Smile

As written on the game page, the game will only run from a MFS System 2 disk (image).
Use MiniVMac to run Think Ahead+, please.
Or old Mac harware, if you still have a matching one.

Thanks <3 so many Mac games to make youtube content aaaaaaaaaaa

EDIT

Thanks for the pointer!
Never knew Keith Lambert made a colour version of the game. Nice finding.
The re-make Sippan created did work well in OSX and its free. Smile

Would it work on 9.0.4 Carbonised?

On a related topic - i wonder what shall we do with the shareware apps (especially ones that lock the app once the time expires) and stuff when the creator/etc are long out of commission

Sippan´s ThinkAhead won´t work with Qemu, MacOS9.2.

With emulators, expiring shareware is not that hard to get around, but its a nag still.
Lets hope somebody has the missing serials or knows how to patch the games in question.
For ThinkAhead+ 3.0.1 this is floating around, not sure whether its (still) valid: 2103171921
