With a Mac floppy drive capable of reading HD 1.4MB floppies, you should be good to go.
On the PC side, you may use HFV-Eexplorer: http://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/hfvexplorer
My personal choice is BasiliskII build 142, which does mount Mac floppies just like a real Mac, given that your PC still has a floppy drive.
Ctrl-Shift-F11 forces a Mac HD floppy to mount in BII/142 BTW.

Depending on the version of System software on the Mac, you can add or may already have a System Extension to read PC formated floppy disks and CDs. You can then just use ordinary PC formatted disks to transfer files ... just remember to leave the Mac files inside their archives until they are actually on the Mac (unstuffing, unzipping, etc. the archives on a Windows PC will destroy the two forks used in applications, making the resulting file unusable on the Mac).
