German Installer CD for eMac G4/700MHz

Evenin' (o;

Now that I've got an installer image for MacOS D-9.1 for a iMac G3 bondie blue....sadly this installer CD won't boot on a eMac G4/700MHz....

Anyone willing to share? I think at least MacOS D-9.2 is needed...image could also be uploaded via FTP to my server...

I never saw a bootable D-9.2.2 for the eMac G4/700, maybe something can be done with the 2000/2001 Mac Anthology.

As a workaround, I would install 10.3 or 10.4, drop the German 9.2.2 system image on it and try to boot from that.

Hmm....so far I was only able to boot from a english 9.2.2 restore CD and restore the whole drive to 9.2.2...

The downside...can't access my Oki color laser in the chooser dialog (works with your D-9.1 install CD on an imac G3).

Good you have the eMac up and running anyway!
Everymac says the machine came with 9.2.2 & X 10.1.4 pre-installed, so it will want 9.2.2 (with NV GeForce2 MX drivers) to boot, I guess.
Can you maybe install D-9.1 to a second volume, while running 9.2.2 and upgrade afterwards?

Some installers allowed an installation "for every Mac" - maybe worth a shot.

DVD7 of the 2001 Anthology only has this, probably equal to what you already have.

Nothing more recent to be found in the Athology, too bad.

I was able to boot from the 9.2.2 english restoration CD from here....then mounted the 9.2.2 eMac G4 Toast image...copied over the system folder and chose the newly copied folder as startup item...they can reside side by side as the names are different..

Do we still need those? I believe I have a set of two Software Restore discs for the eMac 700 Mhz here.

I don´t think the original request was fulfilled.
If you find the time for uploading, its sure desirable to have a copy on the server.

This DVD has multilingual installers, but you need OSX installed to use them.
