Not a fan of Virtual PC or VMWare?

I love VMWare under Snow Leopard.
Never could get Parallels running reliably.

If you need Virtualization software for old versions of OS X, VMWare Fusion lets you buy a license key for the newest version, and then "Downgrade" your key to the previous version in settings. You can downgrade your key multiple times to go back as many versions as necessary.

This worked for me to get a copy of VMWare Fusion 8 that works with Mavericks.

As you can see from the link, the original developer provides not only the downloads to all the original installers going back to 2.5, but also the manuals that go with them. If you're worried about them unexpectedly going offline... archive.org has been archiving the legacy download page and its contents since 2009. I wouldn't recommend attempting to run Parallels below version 2.5; 2.5 was the first version ready for public consumption.
