Cow head noise

On my powerbook 3400c I turned on the computer and it just showed a large flashing cow skull from a system extension and some loud clicking noise. Then it went black. Everything fine now but that was WEIRD. Anybody know what happened? What was that cow skull thing?

Wow, I'd like to know that, too. A virus, maybe? Tried running Norton on that disk yet?

I have a very vague recollection of something like that being a joke system extension, but could be wrong.

The extension is called idle time. I found it in the extension controls but I dont know why it was doing that. Really weird.

IdleTime is an (optional install) extension included in with UserLand Frontier 4.2 (maybe other releases too?)

Anyway, the cow skull is part of their company logo, so I guess that's where it stems from.

Maybe it appears at boot time if the extension glitches when it is supposed to load into the OS? But I don't know for sure.
