I downloaded Disk1 and joined the files with ajoiner and expanded the resulting file but the .dmg file inside gets an error saying "no mountable file systems"

Has anyone else had better luck?

The archive is intact - I downloade all segments and joined 'em up. Worked fine.
You must have made a slip somewhere.

Got it to work now. Brilliant!

EDIT: actually I didnt, not that it is installed I get the error saysing DrawSprocketLib--DSpHideScreenItems could not be found although I have installed that extra sprocket thing installer. Maybe it cant be run through classic

It can, I've played it in classic many times before. I remember the game always had a problem with newer versions of sprockets. I believe the CD includes a DrawSprocketLib file that you can simply copy to the extensions folder. It's possible the installer checks to see if you've got a newer version.

I've had that kind of problem with another game, though I can't remember which. I had to use a slightly older version of DrawSprocket to get it to work. Wish I could remember which game it was...
