I am looking for the program "City to City" by Activision. It got published around 1987 I believe. Does anyone have this and could post it? I'd really appreciate it.

I would like to bring this topic again after such a long time. The software I am looking for is described in detail here:
http://www.elisoftware.org/index.php?title=City_To_City_%28Mac,_3_1/2%22...
I would be really happy if somebody still has this hypercard stack and posted it here!
It is now up on ebay:

May I ask again if anybody has it in their archives and would be willing to upload it to the garden? Thx in advance.
It would be fun to see but all the information there is going to be hopelessly out of date and the framework is obsolete for any updates you might want to make.
Sorry for pushing this topic to the top once again but I'm really wanting this software. Anyone got it who would be willing to upload it here? I'd be most gratefull. Thx in advance!
This will sound weird, but I may have found it tho I'm not in a position to download and check. On "vintageapplemac.com" select Utilities then select letter C and then search the page for 'city', he's got a download named "city.sit" and since it is a Utility and it is Vintage, may be what you're looking for? (typical, if not).
A demo of City to City is on disc 2 of Educorp's Shareware CD Version 8.0
Thx for your hint! Unfortunately, I am running Windows 10 and the cdenable.sys doesn't work on 64-bit systems. So, Basilisk doesn't recognize the virtual CD-drive and I can't run the .iso file...
I've created a Disk Copy image specially for u. This works well in Mini vMac as SheepShaver, but it could work also with BII on Windows. Shall I upload it here & if so, where ?
@MacTouch: thank you so much!!! May be the easiest way to upload is via www.zippyshare.com and you post the link here or sent me a private mail?
Done. So, the link is "http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/9KgT2rHW/file.html". Just recopy it & DL. Enjoy.
The demo is limited to two cities only...
Just for the records:
This little helper works with Basilisk II too: http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/virtual-dvd-romcd-utility
To mount an image it has to reside on the emulated Mac volume.
SheepShaver for Windows has been patched to recognise physical CDs again, not so Basilisk II.
In most cases however, a ISO image is mounted in Basilisk II or SheepShaver simply by adding it to the volumes GUI.
Hi 24bit,
I have to warn that the Finder rebuild the desktop of the image the first time & later, the image become unreadeable by SheepShaver (at least this emulator).
True. I forgot to mention (one more time) that CD images MUST be locked in the host OS before mounting them with Basilisk II or SheepShaver. Thanks for the reminder.
YW. I hope we do not have to check all the images on the site. That will be annoying if it's a "monstrous" list... I said that because there is images & especially system disk images here that could be damaged or altered.
Unfortunately, there will be "more than one" here that will fit into that criteria, and will likely require replacement when discovered.
If an archive is found to be not as original - for example, a CD image from 1994 containing OS X hidden "dot" files, then these can (hopefully) be repaired, restored and replaced if necessary. But our aim is always to obtain copies that haven't been written to by the archiving system being used when creating the archive.

May be some existing Mac softwares can do that perfectly ?
I suppose Disk Copy 6 and Disk Utility come close in that they are capable of creating read only archives. In that sense they can be "fool proof". But it's still up to the operator to learn that not all images are created read only, that Disk Copy or Disk Utility needs to be configured to do this, and allowing an image to mount upon completion will be detrimental if its locked status isn't checked beforehand.
City to City (full box and disk) is on eBay. I don't know if I should go for it, no Macs available to archive the disks properly.
