Chuck Yeager Air Combat in Basilisk II mobile

Hi everyone,
I recently installed Basilisk II on my phone. It works fine. But I noticed one strange bug in emulation of one of my all time favourite games- Air Combat. When you shoot down planes, they will never fall to the ground- just circle around at the same altitude. I tested it on Windows version of Basilisk - the same problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Could it be a Mac System glitch rather than a emulation issue?
The page here says System 6 to 9: http://macintoshgarden.org/games/chuck-yeagers-air-combat
Therefore I would try MiniVMac II with System 6 for running the game.

If you are on Android, feel free to try this old version:

I may very well be that anything above Android 6 will refuse to install the app.
One issue with this build was the hard coded path /sdcard0/minivmac - if you aint got sdcard0 on your droid, the app won´t work. Sad
At least you may use the ROM and the System image included in the DL above with other versions of MiniVMac II.

There is a new MiniVMac II version at Google Play Store, but I did not try that one.

It's definitely not an MacOS glitch. It did run perfectly in MacOS 7.5.3, 7.5.5 and 8 both on real Macs that I once had and in emulator (Fusion 3 under DosBox).
Alas MiniVMac II can't be considered as a working emulator under Android. It's unbelievable slow. For example Executor 2.0 in DosBox is much, much faster when you run it on Android. In some apps it's faster than Basilisk. Actually Air Combat runs well in Executor, but with emulation bug - no engine sound.

So I'm almost sure, that it's some kind of emulation issue, and I really would like to know the cause of it.

Too bad. Sad
Could you try the game with MiniVMac on Windows or OSX?
Sure MiniVMac is way slower than Basilisk II.
On X86/X64 that slowness sometimes just makes a game playable at all. Wink
Qemu may be an option to try on a OSX or Windows host, but that won´t solve the mobile issue.
Not sure whether there even exists an ARM port of Qemu PPC.

FusionPC runs in DOS/VirtualBox rather fast, but I could never got Mac sound working in the VM.
There must be a way, but my scarce DOS knowledge is not sufficient for that.

It's not much use in trying playing it on vMac for Windows or OSX since it works flawlessly on Fusion under DosBox, on modern computers it works perfectly.
But as for playing it mobile, there are problems. Since only two options are available:
1)Executor 2.0 under DosBox Turbo(runs well but some sounds(engine, rwr, missile lock) and intro don't work)
2)Basilisk for Android. Works slower, but still ok. But one bug renders it barely playable - downed planes don't go down, that's very annoying.

Does anybody know solution for any of the two aforementioned problems?
