BasiliskII not working in Yosemite

Ever since I upgraded to Yosemite, BasiliskII has refused to load. I open it, and it quits right away.

It does work in Yosemite but I guess there will be pitfalls and a number of factors. There may be something amongst these E-Maculation forum posts that may help.

ROM path may have been corrupted - I had that with my vintage T60 in 10.6 a while ago out of a sudden.
Best check your settings again.
As MTT said, BII does work in 10.10, but slowly, compared to other X-versions.
Keep an instance of 10.9 or lower for emulation to be prepared...

This is exactly what was happening to me-- all I needed to do was make sure all the paths from before were rechosen -- the ROM paths, the image paths, etc. So just go down the line and make sure everything in your GUI has been rechosen, and things should be fine. If not, then save your image files and ROM, then download a fresh copy of BasiliskII, then add those to that copy. Buh-bam!
