Back in the mid 1990's, right when the WWW Internet was emerging, there was a thing called HTML maps. What that allowed a webmaster to do is to define clickable zones in an image, so that any arbitrary shape could be a different HTML link.

WebMap is a HTML mapping tool that lets you visually draw those HTML maps and then export the HTML markup so that you could easily embed it in your HTML document.

Just thinking about this tool is a time capsule in and out of itself. Nobody has been designing websites like this for decades!

DL #1 is version 1.0

Compatibility
Architecture: 68k

At least 2 MB of free RAM.

Note: This crashes with SheepShaver (not compatible with PPC ?)

Hi MacTouch. Yes, NWR = "New World ROM" (I really shouldn't be so lazy, unless they are secondary mentions). I prefer using the "Old World ROM" over the NWR as it allows me to use a wider range of Mac OS's in SheepShaver - 7.5.3 to 9.0.4

Maybe it freezes in later than 8.1 OS's on PPC, due to it's age and perhaps an incompatibility with the Appearance Manager? But I haven't tested further. I so far haven't tried the later versions uploaded by mrdav, either.

YW. In fact, it freezes with SheepShaver on my side. But, it could just be a config issue. Seems it could crash under Mac OS 9, however, according to the other site. Sorry for their own pictures. Wink

And what is NWR exactly ? Does it means "New World ROM", I wonder ?

Hi MacTouch: This works OK for me in SheepShaver - running Mac OS 7.6.1 (Old World ROM) with RAM increased to 8MB. I haven't tried it in later PPC OS's or with NWR. Also fine in SSW 6, Mini VMac II (RAM allocation 4MB). - Thanks for this addition.
