This should be listed as a working 14 day trial version. There is no key and no way to purchase one from Waves, as the system they originally created to generate keys for older products no longer exists.
This is the OSX version of the plugins. Tried it in Pro Tools TDM 5.1.3cs11 and they wont load. Installer says you need Mac OS X for it to run. Does anyone have this one for Mac OS 9 laying around somewhere?
Would make my day
Waves versions 3 & 5 are also abandonware now. Has somebody these versions, too ?
Now Waves 4.0 is officially abandonware:

Can anyone repost it?
Thank you!
"Just because the software was available for Mac OS 9 does not make it abandonware, TataMisia."
Yes, I know. Look, I remove software and make link to Purchase.
Just because the software was available for Mac OS 9 does not make it abandonware, TataMisia. If the company still supports it, whether it be via updates or technical support, it is not abandonware. If you are so confident that Waves 4.0 is considered abandonware, maybe you should contact Waves Audio Ltd. to get their opinion. Also, I'm not sure what "no APA" means.
And, themacmeister, I guess you're right. I just personally don't like running cracked software.
Look at: http://www.waves.com/SpecialPage.aspx?id=5824
All 4.0 versions for Mac OS 9 are no APA.
Many games need to be cracked, whether a No-CD crack, or serial number of some kind. Comparing a hardware key crack with a serial number is one and the same in my book.
I am currently running Presswise 2.53 with a hardware key crack, a 10yo piece of software on an 8yo computer with a 7yo operating system. I have no ADB port for the Sentinel key anyway (on my iBook 2001).
PS. Presswise was Aldus, then Adobe, and was bought out and discontinued in place of the company's other software, PrePs (ScenicSoft?, god knows what version it is up to!).
I do not think this should be here, as Waves Audio Ltd. still offers support for this version. Also, if I remember correctly, one needs one of those USB authorization keys to run this, unless it has been cracked, which is an additional reason not to host this.
