Emulation
Guides on emulating older applications

Disc #1 of this CD of clip art, photos (b&w, colour, textured), web images, photo fonts.

Contains installers in English, French & German for Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X.

The installed application asked me for a serial number on the first launch. I just entered xxx and all was OK. The CD was mounted when I entered the serial number but I do not know if this was essential.

It does appear to be that way. It also appears that there are a number of these collections, ranging from 100,000 pieces of art all the way up to a 1 million count collection. The largest Mac release I can find evidence of is the 800,000 one (which should run on OS9 and OSX).

The 22 disc set on archive.org seem to be all Windows-only CDs

So there are different versions of this collection, but the 2001 version on Archive.org (https://archive.org/details/The_Big_Box_Of_Art_-_350000_21-CDs_Pictures_...) has a total 22 CDs and 350k images. Downloading it now to test it out, as reviews around the internet make it sound awesome for graphic design and publishing - royalty free art, often in high resolutions, and more than just clip art.

Archive.org also had a serial number: BAI-17091-15346-38585
