SoundMaster is a freeware sound Control Panel originally available for Macintosh Systems 6 and 7. It allows the user to add or modify sound effects for basic system functions.

This is the Control Panel only and no additional sound effects are included.

So turns out it wasn't in there.

I'm thinking that, since this is a PowerBook 100 you're talking about, that it was something older than a soundset. Do you remember your dad's computer running a program called Kaleidoscope (http://macintoshgarden.org/apps/kaleidoscope)? It's a UI scheme utility that was first released in 1991, and included sound sets. There were thousands of schemes produced by users, including plenty of Star Trek schemes.

That's probably your best bet.

They certainly exist. I believe one such set is located in the assorted sound set collection:

Was there ever a Startrek TNG set for SoundMaster? I remember my dad's Powerbook 100 would say "ENGAGE!" upon startup, and "A Futile Maneuver" for the system error sound - Both Jean-Luc Picard sound bites.
