Many of the games on this site need some version or other of QuickTime in order to work; included here is every version likely to be needed to work with whatever system version you are running.

wheres quicktime 7 it is 11 years old???? at least some of the versions are???
Thanks to hint me about "Quicktime Install Cache".
I plan to add various QuickTime entries here at MacGarden, separate for each major version (1,2,3,...)
Could include several subversions as well as several language versions, too, in separate d/l's.
I'ld vote for emulator-required versions only, but other peoples may think different.
I've collected 4.0.3 (latest 68k version) and 4.1.2 (PPC) so far, both complete with "Quicktime Install Cache" in its folder.
What versions do we need? I found 4.0.1 on a CD. You can probably find them on various CDROMs. Just look for a file called "Quicktime Install Cache". It'll be in the same folder as the installer.
Guess that's my next upload (they no longer come down the pipe when you use the Update Software option on Quicktime).
Thanks. We'll need to find that "full" parts to archive them here.
QT4 I think. Often the installer would be bundled on a CD with the downloaded install parts for offline installation.
Hm...
When started Apple to ship QuickTime installers that require an internet connection to d/l additional content?
How to merge that additional content with existing QT installers?
Thank you very much!
@IIGS User
No. Only these versions are available for Windows:
http://www.oldversion.com/QuickTime.html
I'm currently re-arranging these versions to be uploaded in separate downloads each version (will be a .cdr.sit or .cdr.zip file to be uploaded).
I also plan to add their Windows pendants within that .cdr files, but the only I can't find is 2.5 for Windows. Does QuickTime 2.5 for Windows exists, at all? If yes, does anybody know where to get it?
I know hybrid game CD's which include version 2.5 for Mac and 2.1 for Windows, so I expect that 2.5 for Windows doesn't exist, but I hope I'm not true with that in mind.
As a page can hold more than one downloadable file, could it be a good idea to separate the QuickTime versions of this page?
@JLIT99
Thanks for the tip, but I already moved all my WebSite to the 000Webhost.com free servers
and I'm glad I did 'cuz though it's a free service, they have no ads at all,
so I'm really happy with their service.
Just incase you were interested, many Geocities sites are mirrored on Reocities. Just change the link from www.geocities.com/whatever to www.reocities.com/whatever
For example: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/9359/ becomes http://www.reocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/9359/
Wouldn't it be better to offer the Quick Time versions separately for download? It would be smaller packages to download, thus less traffic? And we would probably get around the limitation and won't have to mirror it somewhere else
That was nothing really important,
just something really weird,
too bad Yahoo just wasted Geocities, I learned to make WebSites there
and I had my WebSite there for many years,
Geocities was really cool before Yahoo bought it out,
I remember I used to browse other people's WebSites in the form of Neighbors
just clicked on the icon Houses and there you had it,
All there was were beginners websites, really fun
That made my understanding of the Internet really easy and painless.
Alas, Euryale, Geocities is no more... Would there be any chance of an upload to a mirror?
many thanks
When I transfered the .sit file from the WinWorld
I found this:
http://www.geocities.com/ariannasensual/quicktime.jpg
on the column, date modified (past) it says : tomorrow ..!?
Just thought it was weird and (funny)...
