I have a retail copy of QXP v6.1, but it requires phone activation each time you install it, which is a PITA

I've since discovered that given the right code, in this case a Passport install code, my copy of 6.1 no longer requests phone/web activation. Hoorah!

I've added my copy, above (DL #3).

I foud this in my archives. It's not a true updater but claims to install a complete 6.1 version. Please read the included instructions as you start with installing vanilla QXP 6 and replacing/adding files to a complete 6.1 Passport version. HTH! Smile

This is working quite nicely under Rosetta in 10.6x here, thanks. I have a retail copy of QXP v6.1, but it requires phone activation each time you install it, which is a PITA Tongue

This passport version 6.0 above, however requires none of that. I wonder if the free updates to 6.1 & 6.5 get around that phone activation with this? I haven't been able to track down the 6.1/6.5 updates tho' as Quark doesn't appear to have them and the Web Archive doesn't have them either.
