Pix Lite 1.1 is a Classic Mac application and Pix Lite 1.1.6 is a native Mac OS X application.

Pix Lite 1.1.6 for OS X is functionally identical to Pix Lite 1.1 in Mac OS 8.5, but it takes advantage of the Aqua interface and other internal system features introduced in Mac OS X 10.0.

The disc image for Pix Lite 1.1.6 for OS X came as a .img file which is strange for an OS X application, but the image mounts OK provided the version of OS X is old enough.
