Pict2ascii is an application used to convert any image into ascii text. One can then copy and paste into other apps (always using the same font and size) and print it.

HOW TO USE: Drag and drop images onto the Pict2Ascii
Icon to start the conversion. The window has several
controls that let you change the ASCII font and alter other
attributes.

Or print to a PDF and then export that to a JPEG, or use the PrintToJPG "printer" driver, or ...

There's numerous ways to achieve it, but none are really the point of the application itself, which is to make an ASCII image.

I still have to figure out how to convert the end file to a jpeg or something

It outputs to text, not a graphic format. My guess to what you could do (to get a graphic from the result) would be to take a screenshot of the text output. Or print to paper and scan it back in using a scanner.

Neat, works well. I still have to figure out how to convert the end file to a jpeg or something.
