Thanks very much for the floppy images. They work as they should now, and install correctly.

It depends I guess on how the installer on the floppy interacts with it's environment. If it's been programmed to expect another mounted floppy in a disk drive to continue installing from and it can't find that next mounted floppy, then it's going to fail.

That was the case for the 1st upload here and your 2nd upload fixes that issue (all images can be mounted at the same time and the installer "sees" the next disk to continue installing from).

I also think that, if you have original floppy disks and the means to archive them, then it is always preferable to image them at the same time as you copy them to a HD. That is, it's not much more time consuming than dragging their content as folders to a HD. As copying to disk image on a HD takes nearly the same time. This way the floppies are saved in an original form, archived for posterity and not just as a bunch of folders that may or may not be usable to somebody in the future.

Anyway, you have in your possession some amazing, extremely rare early Mac software that you've been archiving and adding to these pages. Really rare obscure stuff. I think it's a pity for the sake of archiving, if you don't take the opportunity to preserve the floppy disk copies in your collection as floppy images instead of as folders in a disk image.

Added disk images. I had thought these were only needed for compatibility with System Software 6.

@krausjxotv: Hi, again these will not install from the mounted image. It requires floppy disk images.
If you have the originals, it would be great if you can add the unmodified Disk Copy images in the .sit. Thanks.
