CompatibilityPowerPC native applications and games will run on SheepShaver only, while coloured 68k applications will run on Basilisk as well as on SheepShaver.

Indeed IIGS User, I remember this error on my Mac LC 475 before we get an iMac. Some programs I tried to run on the LC were displaying a type -192 error
If you try to run a PowerPC-based application on an 68k-based Macintosh,
you'll see the "Error of type -192" message box.
