#1 Download: The latest OS 9 compatible version available (2009/08/19).
It's the only (known) FLAC player for classic Mac OS (with the exception of Amadeus II which is more of an audio editor than a "friendly" player). It successfully played a libFLAC 1.3.1 file on Mac OS 9.
Currently incompatible with M4A + AAC or MP4.
MoreAmp development ceased in 2019 but "Anyone interested is welcome to take it over.".
CompatibilityMac OS 9. Compatibly with 8.6 and Classic unknown.

Wow, to think MoreAmp hadn't been hosted here yet. This is a quintessential OS 9 app for audio playback! Thanks for uploading it here.
Also a little side note, I have had an issue with QuickTime for audio in which the audio would "hiccup" for a brief moment before it resumed, once every hour or two of constant playback. That is one issue I do not have with MoreAmp. So on top of FLAC playback, I recommend it even more so also for that.
And, interesting, I didn't know Amadeus could also handle FLAC. That one is a keeper, too.
