No, the first version of Office that shipped with Intel compatibility was Office 2008.

Office 2004 was a model citizen for Rosetta, worked as well on the Intel Macs as it did on a 350 MHz iMac. But no updater can get around the fact that Office 2004 is and always will be a bucket full of PowerPC binaries.

Given the year of release I don't think that a PPC/Intel Universal build could be possible. Unless the updaters in DL #2 bring Universal compatibility to the suite?

Anyone know?
