Microsoft's short-lived Mac version of their FrontPage web authoring package.

This archive contains the 1.0 installer and the 1.0d updater. I don't have the full CD.

System Requirements:

Power PC-based Macintosh computer running at 100 MHz or higher.
Mac OS 7.5.3 operating system or later.
16 MB of RAM with virtual memory turned on (24 MB recommended).
30 MB of available hard disk space.
One CD-ROM disk drive.
Macintosh compatible monitor (color monitor with Thousands of Colors mode or better recommended).
Open Transport 1.1 or later.
QuickTime required for inserting QuickTime movies

Can Someone Re-Upload? I was and still am a Frontpage user on windows. I would like to try this out on my recently obtained old Imac. I Had it on my external drive, but it crashed

May just be coincidence, AOL and AOLpress v1 and v2 were very big on Mac in 1997, 1998 and 1999. AOL was an awful web experience, but AOLpress was a (at the time) first rate web page creation tool.

Or could be more to do with a project development strategy shift by Microsoft, that saw most of the products also with Mac versions go down a path the Mac couldn't follow, after the disaster with Word v6.

Just out of interest - anyone knows why they cancelled Mac development? Windows dev continued for quite some time, they have several versions over "on the dark side". Was it the Adobe / Claris competition that made them reconsider?
