On this CD you will find all editorial contributions from twelve MACup issues of the year 1994 in the Adobe Acrobat format. See the December editions of our sister magazines "PAGE" and "screen media" as well. Using the software "Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0" (which is included on CD), you can open the articles, flip the pages, print, and cut out text and graphics.
- translated from the "Erst lesen" file from the CD (please continue to read it).

This CD comes with the right to install "Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0" on your hard disk drive and to use it.

Installation instructions in short form, also taken from the "Erst lesen" file:

  1. Install "Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0" on your hard disk and enter the serial number given in this file. Then, perform a restart.
  2. For the benefit of the full-text search, rename the indexes once. To do this, open the "Tools" menu and choose "Search index". In the dialog box, the indexes of the individual issues can be named via the "Add" command. For an index, see the name "INDEX.PDX" in every issue of MACup. Take sequentially all indexes, once via "Add", in the list.
  3. Then click "Search Query" to finish the indexing. You're ready to search for a term. "Acrobat Exchange LE 2.0" displays the sites, which is sorted by the frequency of occurrence in the article. You open the item by double clicking.
  4. When opening an article, select the Tool "Moving Hand" from the tool bar and click on the beginning of the text. The Acrobat files are prepared so that you can read the text in full screen. To read further, you need to press just the Enter key.
  5. At clickable links, the Moving Hand turns into a hand with Index Finger. Click to select the link, and the text reference or the demo version will be opened.

This CD-ROM has been published the first time in 1995.

About the MACup magazine:
The editorial focus of the MACup was put on the topics of media production, graphic, DTP, video, Web, audio, and animation, and thus mainly aimed at graphic designers and professionals from the publishing (publishing professionals), as well as musicians and Film/Video producers.
Since Apple focused on consumers, the MACup magazine has been abandoned in 2011.
