This app works with: Mini vMac

System 6.0.8 was released for free by Apple in 1990 and later.
1. DL is a pre-installed image for the Mac Plus flavor of Mini vMac.
2. DL is the Mac II flavor.
3. DL is a System 6 image too with the build app for Mini vMac 3.X.
The "Manual" refers to the Mini vMac build app.

Architecture: 68k

A Mac_II ROM and a matching Mini vMac build with 8 MB RAM is needed to run 2. DL in 256 colors.

One thing I forgot to add with the manual.pdf are the build environment variables needed if you do not use the default build environment.
Options are:

-ev 2400 { Apple Xcode 2.4 }
-ev 2410 { Apple Xcode 2.4.1 }
-ev 3100 { Apple Xcode 3.1 }
-ev 4000 { Apple Xcode 4.0 }
-ev 4630 { Apple Xcode 4.6.3 }
-ev 6200 { Apple Xcode 6.2 }
-ev 6320 { Apple Xcode 6.3.2 }
-ev 6400 { Apple Xcode 6.4 }
-ev 7310 { Apple Xcode 7.3.1 }
-ev 8210 { Apple Xcode 8.2.1 }
-ev 10000 { Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 }
-ev 11000 { Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 }
-ev 12000 { Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 }
-ev 14000 { Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 }
-ev 15000 { Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 }

As of today, I found building with Snow Leo and Xcode 2.4 or Visual Studio 2005 the most simple way to create a custom working app.
Obviously, the -imch builds for Mac will be useless with with macOS 10.15 Catalina because of their 32bit coding.

Yes, I found the old build helper Paul had on his pages, very convenient as well.
As posted in the other MiniVMac thread, building from (and for) Windows XP is just as easy too.

I never tried to build for 68k or PPC, though.
Maybe we should tidy up the MiniVMac pages stressing the different build environments, now that Paul moved on to the next version of MiniVMac.
It might be nice to offer the possibility of building for many host OS for everybody.
But its probably overkill thinking of the "exotic" host OS like SPARK or OpenIndiana - though I really like the latter. Smile

Thanks for including the build app and user guide, 24bit.

I just used it for the first time today, on Intel Tiger (JaS) and made a Mac II for myself. Very easy with the instructions and this tool.
