Guides on emulating older applications

The 1st DL is a StuffIt/Disk Copy 4.2 archive of IDG Media's 1994 three disk set: Mac & Power Mac Secrets. This is one of the releases that shipped with their Mac Secrets books.

The 2nd DL contains a disk image in which is placed all the software that can be installed from the floppy disk set.

Software included on the floppies:

I'm sure some of it is shareware/demoware.

NOTE: Installing System 7 Pack! 3.5 or TempoEZ will also install some files into your system folder, followed by a request to restart.

Architecture: 68k PPC

All over the place because of the number of different products on the disks. To make use of at least some of the software you probably need a Mac Plus (maybe 512Ke) or higher and System 6. Any 68K or Power Mac with System 7 would likely be able to take advantage of most or all of the software as this was the target market of the time.

Don't miss "Sunset Screen Saver"!

This modular CDEV-based screen saver system is a very rare little gem that was originally part of a commercial set of utilities called QuickTools.

It even has an SDK allowing programers to create their own modules, just like After Dark. If anyone has any third party Sunset modules please share them!
