Guides on emulating older applications

MacArmyKnife (MAK) is one of the coolest utilities out there for Mac OS 9. It is meant to be a "catch all" for mini-utilities and things that other apps don't do. You might find something to help out users, developers, and everyone under the sun. So launch the app, and see what it can do for you.

First download v2.7 as only OS 9 Contextual Menu Plug-Ins
2nd download version 2.8 with OS 9 & OSX Contextual Menu Plug-Ins
Work and test in OS 9.2.2

S/N: bxxxxxxxxxxxxxj

Architecture: PPC PPC (Carbonized)

Requires Mac OS 9.0.4 (with CarbonLib) or later

Love it! The moment I saw a "Find Files" button I knew I could end my relationship with Sherlock which is, in my opinion, one of the ugliest Mac OS 9 era apps ever. I can't stand the aluminum finish on it, although I know there is a way to get rid of it. Looking forward to using this although upon first use I see a few drawbacks that I hope have work arounds (I have yet to explore further)

1) It only appears to start files search to one HD
2) It is sloooow

If it requires CarbonLib to run on Mac OS 9, this application runs native in Mac OS X PowerPC.
