Thanks for the links, Franky. I have recovered them all, plus one extra image I found along the way.
All look to be in good health, so eventually they will find their way up to the MG, too Wink

As I have not really the time actually for uploads, I prefer giving you all the links:

https://archive.org/details/LaCieUtilities
https://archive.org/details/LaCieRecordingUtilityCDStandardVersionAdaptec2000
https://archive.org/details/AdaptecToastVersion4.0.1.1StandardEditionMacintoshLaCie1999

The 1st & 3rd are the same versions. As you said before, a single page for all versions 6 for Silverlining would be good as well. You can create new pages if you prefer or asking mrdav to assist you. Smile

There is another interesting link:

https://archive.org/details/LaCieDVDUtils

I'm not sure that Silverlining is present tho' as I had not looked into this one.

If it's another "utilities" kind of bundle from LaCie, then it should have it's own page. We do not have VirtualDisk 2.1 and I don't think we have that version of Silverlining, so it would be good to have archived here. Thanks, Franky.

I had only looked at the CP named "Silverlining d2", which has the multi-language groups I had mentioned, so I assumed they would all be like that.

I did not launch this one myself, too bad... Wink I've found another web archive image & it contains Silverlining 6.2.1, TimeDrive 2.0.3 & VirtualDisk 2.1 at least. Do we have all these versions already here ? If not, do we need to upload that & where ?

That could be a nice one to have here, too, mrdav. It's from 2006.

But... it looks like the archivist of that iso stuffed it up. It appears to contain the Windows partition, only. Their checksums match what I DL'd, so I don't think the problem was with my DL.

Is the contents of the following covered here?

Ah yes, German and English copies of Silverlining Lite. I had only looked at the CP named "Silverlining d2", which has the multi-language groups I had mentioned, so I assumed they would all be like that. - And one should never assume Wink

I've had time to look at that package more closely. The dates are user modified and not correct for 2001. The Silverlining CP's it contains, run on System 6 & above. The download in that page is a mixture of items, German Lite versions 1.0.3 & VirtualDisk Lite 2.0.3 from 1995 and multi-language Silverlining d2 & English Lite versions 2.2.2 from 1999. So the set is incomplete and not an original offering that maybe could be split into separate items.

Incomplete in that it is (going by the included documentation), the German v1.0.3 copy should perhaps include DiskDup Pro and EasyLabels (& VirtualDisk Full ?), tho' it does include VirtualDisk Lite.

I have verified the German version page & updated it consequently to the archive. Sorry, it's not multi-language, only German & English. As you can see, it is a Lite version of Silverlining & not the v2.2 in German. That explains your little trouble. Smile

Apart from that, the 6.5.8 version works with Basilisk II also under System 7. It does not run with Mini vMac, however. But I suppose this one does not support driver softwares. The 6.5.8 installer won't run on 68k Macs anyway...

I can't determine if informations about compatibility I've put here are wrong or not, especially for carbonized versions of softwares.

If the pages (like this one) contain SilverKeeper, then those are carbon (Classic/X), until Silverkeeper reaches version 2, when it became pure OS X only.

Silverlining & Silverlining Pro are all 68k native (no PPC code), as far as I can tell - I haven't looked at 6.5.8 as yet.
Silverlining 98 is for Windows 98/98SE & Windows ME, only.

All are multi-language capable with maybe the 1991 version being the exception. The copy we have named "Silverlining 2.2" (German)" (at least the Silverlining CP) is actually multi-language English, French, German, Italian & Spanish. So page that could see it's title changed shortly. - I'm also puzzled as to how the v5.x one from 1991 became v2.2 in 1995 Puzzled

[Edit] The latest v6.5.8 is also 68k encoded only, and will run on at least Mac OS 7.6.1 (I only tested it under this OS on Basilisk II), but the accompanying TimeDrive v3.0.3 (also this page) is PPC only. So architecture must include 68k and PPC here. However, on the Silverlining v6.1 page, it includes TimeDrive v2.0.3 and it's 68k encoded, only (no PPC code).

YW. However, I can't determine if informations about compatibility I've put here are wrong or not, especially for carbonized versions of softwares. I have worked myself with big disks from LaCie on the past, but only under Mac OS X. Anyway, it would not be a problem for me of course to correct the wrong informations by anyone. All pages are made in this way, so... Wink

[EDIT] I have tested all the versions of Silverlining we have here & all are working on 68k Macs. So, do we need to update compatibility informations for that on the concerned pages ?

Hi Franky, an excellent addition, thank you. I probably would have placed the unbundled 6.5.8 in the standalone Silverlining Pro page and renamed the title to suit (e.g.; LaCie Silverlining Pro v6.x). It's all good tho'. Thanks again for tracking down the Storage Utilities ROM from 2004.

Hi there,

As I think this version deserves its own page, I've created it here. Smile I've found a hybrid image on the web archive. I've also uploaded the v6.5.8 on the page. The image contains only the v6.5 of Silverlining.

Is Silverlining Pro 6.4.5 the latest OS 9 version?

It looks like Silverlining Pro 6.5.8 is the latest OS 9 version.

Yes. It contains Silver Lining Pro. Plus Silver Lining for OSX.

@sfp1954 ? Is that somehow related to LaCie's apps from this page, by any chance?

Is Silverlining Pro 6.4.5 the latest OS 9 version? Looking around, I didn't see any other that came afterwards, at least (even for OS X?).
