- Iomega Drive Options control panel
- Iomega Guest
- Iomega CSM will let you launch IomegaWare from the Control Strip.

oh nice!

Another nice thing would be an image of an original, unmodified Zip Tools 4.2 disk, created with Linux 'dd'. Note that inserting a Zip disk in a drive connected to a computer with the 5.x driver will rewrite the 5.x driver to the disk.
For now, the driver from Mac Driver Museum works fine.

You can get Iomega Driver 4.2 from

The readme says it works on 6.0.8 up on a SE or higher.

Anyone has older versions of the Iomega Driver, for System 6 and 7? I'd highly appreciate these!

Sorry to post this, but could you *please* move this to the forum if you have anything else to post. There has been a lot of offtopic stuff, i mean, a little is ok, but 10 posts?

Bolkonskij, I do not find your uploads annoying, quite on the contrary.
bertyboy, let's forget about it; you maybe misunderstood the quality and intention of my post scriptum: it wasn't meant to criticize. It also wasn't meant to ask for something. It was just a notification. Anyway, the whole question of how many and what application can be uploaded by whom is somewhat obsolete, since almost all classic applications seem have been uploaded on this website. As a matter of fact, it is mostly utilities which are left to be uploaded.

Mmm, it never was personal, for me anyway. It's a recurring issue, and it'll sort itself out. some little worker which copies the files over to amazonaws, isn't, it will catch up.

It's okay, thanks for the info xy. Smile I know it of course - the no such key error goes by after a couple of days, check my older uploads, they should all be working now. It's possible that some of the software I upload is still available somewhere else, though who knows for how long anymore.

I'm really into this old shareware software, there is a lot of useful software out there. Especially to those of us who still use OS 9 on a daily basis. I believe the idea of the Mac Garden is to have one comprehensive archive of old macintosh software. Having one place where to find all the interesting stuff saves so much time and actually lets you discover new software as well. I'm pretty sure everyone of us has discovered new software here, not knowing that it even existed. However, if the majority thinks it's no good to upload these apps I may stop as well ? I mean, I don't want to do anything that is not wanted or possibly even annoying? Just drop me a line.. Smile

bertyboy, I certainly do know that no such key error is a recurrent problem on this site. This is why I notified Bolkonskij. It does not make much sense for him or anybody else to make time consuming upload efforts if the uploads do not work anyway, especially if most of the uploadeded utilities are still available for download elsewhere on the web. For that reason, in the last weeks, I have posted about one dozen links to rare software, some of them really difficult and time consuming to find. This is how I tried to contribute. At least one of the links, the hard to find Apple commercials you obviously enjoyed. I hope this answers your question. Nobody forces you to upload anything. So, please don't get personal.

P.S. Bolkonskiji, all your recent utility uploads have no such key error.

xy, and how much stuff have you uploaded in the last month ??

Not having a go at you, but if you had uploaded anything, you'd know that the "no such key" is a recurring issue. It'll sort itself out over the next week.

Download does not work. The latest version seems to be v4.0.2 and can be downloaded in several languages here:

P.S. Bolkonskiji, all your recent utility uploads have no such key error.

Think I probably have all the versions, my last (USB) Zip 250 drive came with v2.1 (from memory) but I remember it being a regular on MacUser / MacWorld / MacFormat cover cds.

If you do have 5.0, don't replace this version, please upload it to a new page

This brings me to the idea: As we have multi-download options per page, the admins could add a commentary line to the downloads, where the uploader could write the version number, for example. So the user not have to mouseover the download to see the attempting file name...

If you do have 5.0, don't replace this version, please upload it to a new page, because macintosh garden is all about saving old software.

Anyway, this is a great piece of software for my aging zip drive Smile

Sure, unfortunately I only have Version 3.5 (which I know works fine). If you have version 5.x please exchange it. I just thought it would be helpful to have a version here for people in need for it Smile

Would it be possible to post the latest version here (version 5.0x?), I understand the PC version goes up to V.8.x or even higher.
