I was surprised to discover (after reading comments below) that this may also install onto a iBook G4 (2004) that I had sitting in a cupboard, not doing very much.
I had needed to test some software on Jaguar, so decided to try this DVD to install 10.2.7 onto this iBook.
Well it boots, installs and 10.2.7 runs perfectly on my iBook G4. Everything works, sound, USB 2, display's color, all OK without needing any additional fixes.
NEVERMIND. All Mac mini G4 models are compatible with Mac OS X 10.2.8 with perfection, made very viable with this DVD disc uploaded here. Success story here. As for the sound issue... There was no sound issue, but just me being a dumbass. Sound works perfectly, too.
Edit: I spoke too soon when I said "with perfection". Apparently people have done that before, and here's the documentation. (Note: Sound works with a USB sound adapter.)
Wow. Somewhat shockingly, you technically CAN install and run 10.2.7 with this DVD on all Mac mini G4 models, no spoofing needed. However, even after updating to 10.2.8, the most glaring issue is that it's stuck at 256 colors mode AND seems almost-entirely grey-colored. (Plus no sound.)
If only there was some ATI driver update for Jaguar to fix this!
Edit: Aw, installing ATI 9200 drivers for 10.2.8 did not work!
Just thought this was a very cool discovery to share. (Assuming it hasn't been documented before, that is.)
Works on MDD2003? Figures since I know my MDD2003 has USB2.0 which is turned off. Anyway the G5 edition of OSX 10.2.7 runs with G5 memory controller speed on my MDD2003 and the G4 version does not. I'll have to compare to see how this one acts.
Can not extract these with either 7zip or Winrar extracts only 900mb before it stops says unexpected end of archive. I have tried downloading these images several times with no luck. Does anyone have the actual images that it not in several part that can upload it ? Thanks.
UPDATE: I found out that internet Download manager was the blame as it renamed the 1st file. Confirmed the disc does Boot my iMac g4 1ghz. changed the extension form .toast to .iso and Burned with Imgburn on a PC.

My thanks to the uploader, for this addition.

Power Mac G5 tested cannot install, this disc makes platform checks despite its long compatibility list.
Will this work on a 700 mhz iMac G4 2002?

Yes! Except the Hardware Test, and Software Restore part which probably need to be spoofed to work.
According to Ataru, this disc will also work on MDD 2003 Macs.
