hierDA (aka DA menuz) adds submenus to Desktop Accessories ("DAs") found in the Apple menu. In particular, it can be used to make the Control Panel desk accessory behave like a hierarchical folder, akin to SSW 7.5 and later (hence the name, as in "Hierachical DA"). It can also be used to add a pop-up menu, allowing quick access to menubar items, including the Apple Menu.

Documentation is found within the control panel itself. Despite the name, hierDA is actually a Control Panel, and not itself a Desktop Accessory.

For similar functionality in SSW 7.0 and 7.1, try NowMenu, from Now Utilities.

NOTE: Documentation mentions a version 0.99, as well as a forthcoming version 1.1. Anyone who has either of those versions (or any other) should upload them to this page.
