Flip4MacTM WMV is the official Windows Media player on Mac OS X – supported and hosted by Microsoft. This collection of QuickTime™ components allow you to easily play, import, and export Windows Media® files. Flip4Mac WMV can be used with most of your favorite QuickTime applications including Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote. After installing Flip4Mac WMV, you can play Windows Media files using QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using Safari and other Web browsers. This extremely useful, formally free software allows you to view Windows Media Center files (such as WMV) in QuickTime Player. These are the final freeware versions of Flip4Mac and are no longer available from Telestream Inc.
[Top DL]: Version 2.4.4.2, Last version to run on Leopard (10.5) & Snow Leopard (10.6).
[2nd DL]: Version 2.3.8.1, Last version to run on Tiger (10.4).
[3rd DL]: Version 2.2.1.11, Last version to run on Panther (10.3).
[4th DL]: Flip4Mac Streaming Utility, allows QuickTime Player to switch back & forth between Progressive Download & Streaming modes.

I found 2.2.1 via the Wayback Machine and added it to the page.
2.2.1 is for 10.3.9 but I can't find it anywhere. Perian is 10.4+ so no way for Panther.

Serials are only needed to export movies in wmv format and also, if I'm not mistaken, are still available for purchase.

There is new version for intel mac.
Flip4mac system requirement is mac os x 10.6.8 to macOS Sierra on intel mac.
This version is 3.3.8.
You right about your downloads. 1st download for mac os x 10.4. Its works on mac os x 10.4.11.
2nd download for mac os x 10.5 and mac os x 10.6. It works on mac os x 10.5.8. I don't have intel mac test this on.
