Virtual PC is PC emulation software that provides users with the ability to run various Windows operating systems and software at reduced speed, right on their Macintosh, including DOS, Windows 3.1, 95, ME, and 2000.
Slower PowerPC systems will want to stick with DOS or Windows 3.1. Faster PowerPC systems will perform acceptably with Windows 95 and 98. G3 and G4 upgraded systems will perform acceptably with Windows ME and 2000.
OK. Here is the next edition of Connectix Virtual PC. No Windows 95 hard disk images included inside the Virtual PC™ 2.0 folder, so you need to use custom install instead or copy the Virtual PC™ 2.0 folder to the hard disk. Just choose everything except the hard disk images (except Extras 2.0 hard disk image).
For Mac OS 8.6 compatibility, you have to update them to 2.1.3.
You can use the serial numbers (all not tested):
1925-3637-6190-7648 or 4498-3570-7552-3920 or 7979-6871-0130-2571 or 0372-6585-9353-1819
or 2.1 serial:
VPC21-1016-747

CompatibilityIncompatible with SheepShaver because it lacks MMU (it shows an error message and broken graphics). You can try running it on QEMU [experimental], however don't expect you can get the maximum performance (compared when running via qemu-system-i386).

Comments
Early/Mid 90's, when I owned a Macintosh Classic, running SoftPC:
Very slow screen creation of the welcome screen of QBasic and the DOS text editor as well. When the construction of the picture was finished, you could also watch the dismantling of the welcome picture again.
Just tested running VPC 2.1.3 on emulated Mac OS 9.2.2 system via QEMU (Windows 98 Hard Disk), works perfectly although it takes a very long time to get it to Windows 98 Desktop. Running Windows 98 via VPC (version 2.1.3 & 3.0.x only, 4 and above produce an error) on QEMU-PPC emulation is still experimental and slow compared to emulating Windows 98 system on QEMU-x86 (actual PC) emulation.
is there a way to use roland mt32 via this emulator for dos games?
Added the Virtual PC 2.0 CD image, which includes PC-DOS inside and it's upgradable to Windows.
@SHiNShU
In Classic Mac OS, please use Disk Copy 6.5 to mount such stuff
Windows users and Mac OS X users simply add these CD images to the Macintosh emulator's drives list as usual.
Wrapped stuff (either in .cdr images or .img [Disk Copy 6.3 images]) is the future of this site...
@SHiNShU
Then try the version 4.0 (non-upgrade). It may be work: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?dv2qogimz2x
